Azur Vélo Elite Tri Training Camp: Ironman 70.3 World Championships

Join us in July 2019 for an elite triathlon training camp in Nice specifically geared towards athletes competing in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships event, but also open to triathletes seeking a high-level training camp in the Côte d'Azur with professional coaching and guidance. Benefit from race course presentation and reconnaissance with the event organizer himself, Yves Cordier - a word-class triathlete, coach and former European champion of triathlon. Professional triathlete and coach Alexandre Blain will be accompanying participants on rides, runs and swims, and conducting technique analysis and specific skills training sessions during the week. With a pro cycling background before his conversion to pro triathlon, and three top 10 finishes in 70.3 events during the 2018 season, Alexandre brings to our camp his very specific skill set and expertise in the 70.3 distance and in cycling.

Each day there will be a morning ride option with emphasis on the race course route. However, we will also do some training rides in the surrounding area to take advantage of the challenging terrain while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Côte d'Azur. The camp will be individualized to address technique, strategy and skills to meet the needs of our participants and help everyone be at their very best for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships event. Afternoon swim and run training options will be available, with running course reconnaissance and specific swim and run technique analysis and skills training.
